Behind the Scenes of a Boudoir Session | Rhode Island Boudoir Photographer

Curious about what it’s like behind the scenes of a boudoir shoot? Wonder no longer - today I’m showing you behind the scenes of one of my recent boudoir photo shoots!

Upon Arrival at Your Boudoir Photo Shoot.

When you arrive to your boudoir photo shoot, you are welcomed with open arms. Before we even start, my main priority is to ensure you are comfortable. I am so honored that you have entrusted me to capture intimate photographs of you where you’ve likely had to fight those nerves and insecurities to book with me. I assure you, you’re in good hands. Once you’re settled in, I have a dedicated hair and makeup stylist to make you feel and look beautiful. There’s nothing better than a little bit of pampering to really make an experience feel special.

Getting Started

Before we even start, I give you 3 great tips to rock your boudoir photo shoot. Because I know it can be a bit awkward to pose for the first time, I will actually get into the pose first to show you what to do. I’m there all the way as your cheerleader to ensure you’re posed perfectly, your hair looks perfect, and your poses compliment you in the best way possible. When I take the first few photographs, I will give you a sneak peek. Once you see yourself for the first time on the back of my camera, it will give you a jolt of “Whoa, is that me? Ok, I can do this!” and then all those insecurities melt away and we have an amazing time capturing the most stunning photographs of you.

When you book with me, you’ll receive a session prep guide and a questionnaire that allows me to better understand how you envision yourself being photographed. This will help me understand you and your vision so I can bring it to life.
